Enlighten the future

Throughout many years, Aid To Schools charity organization has been able to brighten up blooming futures. Since the beginning, friends from all around the world has been get together to achieve all these past great social endeavors.

As the next step of the great social cause, this year we are planning to help primary school students from Welikanda. Welikanda is a one of the rural areas located in North Central province in Sri Lanka. Even though it is a very rural area in the country with poor facilities, humanity and sincerity are rich in these peoples’ heart and soul.

So we take this opportunity to donate school items to two schools located in Welikanda area. Both schools have classes from Grade 1 to Grade 5. According to the school grading system in Sri Lanka both schools are in the lowest level, which is number 3. They are namely Dibunlana primary school and Muthuwella primary school and both Schools function with the minimum facilities. Most of the school children’s parents are poor farmers who faces numerous issues. Drought that affects their cultivations throughout the year and minimum availability of clean drinking water are some of them.

School Details:

NCP/P/DB/WK/Muthuwella Primary School has 5 classes with 5 teachers with the total number of 75 students.
NCP/P/DB/WK/Dimbulana Primary School also have 5 classes with 10 teachers with the total number of 186 students.

All together there are more than 260 little kids who will be enjoying new books and study accessories which are going to be donated from the Aid To Schools.

With honor, we would like to welcome you to join with us for this great cause, to help these little kids to grow into beautiful souls. Let’s make them smile J
